TOO GOOD BY JENNY MCCARTHY!

Wednesday I had the pleasure of visiting the showroom where they were introducing the new line of baby bedding by Jenny McCarthy. She had just introduced the line on the View, wasn’t it exciting that I missed those ladies by a few minutes!

Having Jenny be the face of this new product makes perfect sense. When her son was diagnosed with autism in 2005, she began to treat him holistically. The autism dramatically subsided and Jenny has become a trusted voice in the autism community talking about the direct correlation between a child’s diet and environment and their mental health. That’s why the organic nature of these products was one of the things most important for Jenny in this new product. Safety was the key.

This is an affordable, non-toxic, juvenile product for mainstream consumers (that means it is not over-priced!), with the highest regard for safety, health, and environment. It was important to Jenny that people could afford these items, hence it wasn’t created for the high end market.

The amazing thing to me was the safety concerns that were addressed, when someone has gone through what Jenny has gone through regarding her son’s autism, you know she means it when she says every safety concern was a major factor in the production of these items and would continue to be, on an ongoing basis. That is what most impressed me most and would have the greatest impact on the market place. Almost all parents are obsessed with child safety these days, as well they should be, I still check my 7 year old’s breathing every night!

This is my paparazzi pic. I was in the front row, just oogling Jenny, she is gorgeous! She did give the gay dad a shout out, I asked who on the View from earlier that day was looking for free samples! She intimated Whoopi seemed very interested! (I have to say, Jenny had one of the nicest, approachable personalities of any celeb I have met this year.) I missed the personal photo opportunity, pick-up time from 2nd grade is always my priority! Jenny understood!

I happened to catch her on the View. I love how she is making safety important in her line and if I was in the market for baby bedding, I would definitely go with Buy Buy Baby!
