I went to an event this week for Maytag/Whirlpool. Why wouldn’t I have thought that washer/dryers would start to contain computers, I should have known everything will soon contain microchips after attending the latest HP event.The only thing these new machines do not do is put the clothes inside themselves. The above top of the line washer/dryer system contains a USB port for updates that may come down the road. I blame my surprise at how far laundry technology has advanced on my landlord, our machines are from the last millennium!
Can you imagine no more ironing? For me it wold be no more wrinkled cloths! I am a guy after all. It gets tiring showing an article from 10 tears ago that says the wrinkled look is in.
Lastly, the washer/dryer system on top of each other is a dream of mine. When my son was born we stayed in a hotel complex that had one of these and we did laundry several times a day. It was a huge help. That is not my goal, my goal is to have this system in my house so I don’t have to shlep down to the basement of my building to clean clothes! Isn’t it enough that as of last year I stopped going to the river with a rock to clean my clothing?
