Yesterday I had the distinct pleasure of attending a gala at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, New Jersey. I had never been to this venue before but knew a lot about it as I used to work for the ballet. I was able to attend as a guest of Weight Watchers, for whom Jennifer Hudson is a spokesperson.
So, who is not a fan of the famous Jennifer Hudson? We had third row seats, all of these pictures are close up taken from 10 feet away from Ms. Hudson. It was absolutely phenomenal. She was practically singing to me! I teared up when she sang “And I am telling you…”
She was very generous and came into the audience and sang with some of us “regular folks,” not me thankfully. You can see one of the audience members was brought up on stage and she had a fantastic voice as well, it made for a very exciting performance.
Thanks to Linda, I never got rid of my spouse so fast when I heard there was a ticket available for me for last evening. Overall the Gala was terrific and I got to eat a lot, my other favorite pastime (sorry Weight Watchers!).

Omg, me and my sister are over here oohing and aahing over Jennifer – she looks so incredible!!! Good for her, for losing that weight AND keeping it off (the hard part).
