My son knows I am a big fan of Glee, and he has seen some of the musical numbers. He is a 7 year old teeny bopper and sings along to most songs these days so it all makes sense (not really!).
ICarly is of course a staple in the house of a 7 year old pre-teen. It all started with Drake & Josh of course, introduced by his older cousins. And I thoroughly enjoyed that show! ICarly is a direct extension of D&J, and I like the slapstick both provided. I have also written before that I like shows with good role models, and ICarly’s teens producing their own web show, that’s a great role model.
So, do the addition. Add both shows together. Who doesn’t love the sassy Jane Lynch from Glee? Who doesn’t love the sassy Jeanette McCurdy from ICarly? They are the perfect TV mother and daughter, I was so psyched when I heard they were doing this. And my son shares in my excitement!
