I went into Chase Bank, or whatever their name is now, to make a deposit and a payment.
The line moved quick, when I was approached by a young lady, did I have a straight deposit? Now, sometimes, if I am talking to myself inside my head, things come out of my mouth that may not normally be spoken. I told her “No, I have a gay deposit.” You are mostly safe saying this in NYC, I am starting to care less and less about not being all the way “out”as time goes by. I have a 7 year old son, he needs to see his dad is out, loud, and proud. I cannot hide who I am, it is a bad example for him. Doesn’t mean I have to be obnoxious, that’s just extra!
So to continue my craziness, she sat me down and said, oh, I see you have an account at another bank as well as ours. I explained my husband (for clarification purposes, we are both husbands!) works on Wall St so I had a separate account at another bank for money laundering purposes. Did I say too much?

Very funny Mitch. In defense of your banker, a “straight” deposit is one in which you only make and deposit and do not make a withdrawal. This is a very simple transaction, whereas deposit and withdrawal gets complicated. Although no offense was intended, perhaps someone in custom relations should look into fixing their terminology.
