Today we had baseball pictures set for an hour before the actual game. I was dreading this but it all went more smoothly than I could have hoped. My son had a nice smile but I think the teeth are too prominent – we shall see!
Time passed quick enough, my son’s attention span is not great, he only made it through 2 innings. I knew before hand this was a set-up for him. I am learning something! The games usually last about an hour so adding an additional hour was too much. We celebrated the whole experience with sushi anyway.
For me, it meant an additional hour of social time! My girls were on the other team so I had some extra face time with my school friends. We had the late game today so at some point I saw half of my neighborhood strolling through the fields. I love it! I am a very social person so the more friends I see the happier I am. I did not expect this to be my experience living in Manhattan, I thought this was what you get in suburbia, but I think I have it even better because of the higher concentration of people living in apartments. And we are not all coming and going by car, we walk everywhere and meet everyone in the streets! Yay!

At least he made it thru two, my son wouldn’t have even made one xD Let alone sitting there at all. Yea. We’re not big on sports either. hehe
