I thought on a school/work night, West 56th Street was too far to travel.. I am too old for all that activity now. We stayed local, Forbidden City, the excellent Asian restaurant where I had my 50th Surprise Birthday dinner that I threw for myself. My 51 year old colon prevented me from having the blow out blast (no pun intended) that we would have hoped for, but the food was good. Hibachi at Benihana will have to wait for next Saturday when I can travel that far. I only care about seeing my sons reaction to that fun style of cooking/eating anyway. I am just too selfless!
