The meal worm and beetle segment of the 1st grade science module is done. Some lucky students got to take home some of the experiment’s subjects to care for as their own. Lucky us! And on top of that, my friend left for African safari this morning, I got the call last evening, can we babysit for her beetle while they were away. Does any etiquette book cover the answer to that question? The second picture is of our charge, Bobby the Beetle. He hasn’t moved much but we remain hopeful! Today our teacher gave us the rest of the class’s meal worms and beetles. We are trying to remain hopeful, their life span seems to be coming to an end. Hey, my son has been asking for a pet, make the best of it!
Just be very careful, do not wake up early and mistake these for bowls of cereal!
