I mean Toy Fair! I got in! I am officially a self made journalist! This blogging stuff is great! I gave myself a by-line on my own blog, added a business card, and got registered as “media” for the Toy Fair at the Javits Center – how awesome! I enjoyed seeing all the new stuff coming out down the road, I will blog more about that during the week, I just wanted you all to know I have hit the big time (for me anyway!)!
I did not know if I was really eligible to enter as a media person, I could not get the early registration to work properly so my helper could not get me registered before the show, I thought I would try and wing it and it worked! I was so excited, it was the 50 year olds version of the excitement I had when I was 18 and got into Studio 54! My, how the mighty have fallen.
PS That Javits Center needs a lot of work, they can’t even get the carpet even, it is a real sh_t hole in my humble opinion. And $15 for a $5 lunch did not impress me either!
