My oldest LOVES Legos! I just wish they had more for little girls. It doesn’t effect me because I have only sons, but I know some girls would love them to.
I am impressed by lego but they are still beyond me. DS prefers to crash stuff down rather than build it up…I suspect the building love comes later right?
Ok, now I’m sad again about missing the Hobbit in theaters.

I remember when I used to get so excited about new Lego sets! Then, it was usually space sets with astronaut mini-figures.

Although my son loves his lego sets, we have found once they are built the love affair wanes. He can’t play with the figures without them coming apart. He got a lot of Ninjago legos for Christmas and once they were built they take up space because every time he touches them something breaks off.

Legos are big in our house. We just got a Ninja Turtle one to put together a couple of weeks back.
