Lincoln received 12 nominations including Best Picture and is the most nominated film of the year! I was lucky to be at the very first press screening of this movie and knew immediately it would be a huge hit. Yay!
Brave, Frankenweenie, Wreck-It Ralph, Paperman and Marvel’s The Avengers all received one nomination each. As you know, I saw 3 of those movies during my September press junket to review movies with Disney. I knew they were terrific, it is fantastic to see movies that I reviewed so closely up for Oscars!
I hope they all win everything! What an honor to have been part of the process of working with these great movies!

I want to see Lincoln STILL! We saw Brave & The Avengers. Hubby took the little one to see Frankenweenie. IT was a good year for Disney!
Not surprising, Disney makes the best movies. I do a feel a little guilty though, I live in the Land of Lincoln and still haven’t seen the movie.

My brother’s all-time favorite movie is The Avengers, and I really loved Tim Burton’s “frankenweenie”. It’s a shame he missed out on directing the upcoming film, “Maleficent”, as he’d originally intended. He would have lent a lot of visual magic to that one!
